Makai is a boat rental listing service that offers the tools for users and businesses to book, pay, and communicate all in one place. Makai allows boat owners to list their vessel with a captain — whether that is the owner themselves or a captain the owner assigns.
Set sail for your next trip, enjoy the day on a sandbar, try a new watersport, take a group fishing trip… whatever your pleasure, you can find it on Makai.
For boat owners: List your vessel after passing our verification process, rent your boats easily, and earn income. Set your prices upfront, be the captain or assign one of your choosing.
For renters: Browse a wide array of boats in your area. Captains and details are taken care of, so all you have to do is enjoy the adventure.

“When I created Makai, I wanted to give people an opportunity to have a better experience when making plans to get out and enjoy their time on the water. For me, it is a daily experience, a necessity, a part of me.
After years of having people ask where they should book or who they should charter with, I realized that it was taking longer to find a vessel than actually getting to relax on one. It almost felt like something that was just out of their reach.
So, I decided to create a new experience — one that not only embodies my ideals of simplicity and ease of use, but something that is synonymous with a desire to be on the water. Makai handles all the logistics so you can enjoy being in your element.
